  1. MASONIC BOULEVARD RESURFACING PROJECT NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

    June 20, 7:00 AM - July 6, 7:00 PM

    The City of Fraser has received federal funds to resurface Masonic Boulevard between Utica and Kelly. A contract has been awarded to Florence Cement Company for the work. The project includes milling off 3” of the old asphalt surface, base repairs, miscellaneous curb and gutter repairs, and a new asphalt surface. Work is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of July 8, 2019 and the project should be completed by mid-October 2019. Actual start and completion dates will vary earlier or later as weather and other factors may affect the contractor’s schedule.

  1. Summer Playground Program (Ages 6-13)

    June 24, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM @ Steffens Park Fort Fraser

    This program includes daily activities such as arts & crafts, sports, games and more! Children must be signed in and out by a parent/guardian and we recommend that they bring a lunch and/or snacks daily. On Wednesdays we will meet at Somerset Pool for a day of swimming and will have the option to purchase a pizza lunch for $3. Incase of inclement weather an alternate location will be used. Each week is $95 Residents, $120 non-Residents. Each week includes 1 shirt which we will decorate as a craft. Purchase 6 weeks and get one free!

  2. 3v3 Basketball (Grades 1-8)

    This 3v3 program will teach and enforce skill development while playing 2-3 games a day after a week or two of drills and practices. Location TBD. $60 Residents, $70 Non-Residents

    Mondays and Wednesdays, Beginners @ 10 AM, Intermediate @ 11 AM This is a five-week instructional tennis program for beginner and intermediate tennis players. Participants are required to bring their own tennis racquet. $55 Residents, $68 Non- Residents.

    Join High School Coach McCoy and our team of coaches as we develop young tennis players in a fun five-week instructional tennis program for beginner and intermediate tennis players!     Mondays, 5 week sessions starting June 17th & .July 22nd Beginners at 1pm, Intermediate at 2pm Find your Zen with this beginning Tai Chi Class with an option to use chair. Tai Chi exercises help to rejuvenate, heal, energize and de-stress; and help those with arthritis, joint pain, back pain and more. Cost for 5-week session is $26 for members, $32 for non-members. Drop in fee is $7.

    Grades 2-4 - Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00 pm Location Varies Sometimes you just gotta get out and play! This program is 100% about the fun of sports. All abilities welcomed! We start the program with learning the basic skills of the game, then move on to the playing! Each sport will have one day of practice and basic skills and one day of games. Sports to be covered will depend on available instructors but could include: Basketball, Tball, soccer, Floor Hockey, Flag Football, Tennis, Rugby, Volleyball, Dodgeball, Bowling and Mini Golf. Want to be involved in the fun? Parent Volunteers welcomed! Cost is $73 Residents, $85 Non-Residents.
