    June 20, 7:00 AM - July 6, 7:00 PM

    The City of Fraser has received federal funds to resurface Masonic Boulevard between Utica and Kelly. A contract has been awarded to Florence Cement Company for the work. The project includes milling off 3” of the old asphalt surface, base repairs, miscellaneous curb and gutter repairs, and a new asphalt surface. Work is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of July 8, 2019 and the project should be completed by mid-October 2019. Actual start and completion dates will vary earlier or later as weather and other factors may affect the contractor’s schedule.

  1. Summer Playground Program (Ages 6-13)

    June 25, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM @ Steffens Park Fort Fraser

    This program includes daily activities such as arts & crafts, sports, games and more! Children must be signed in and out by a parent/guardian and we recommend that they bring a lunch and/or snacks daily. On Wednesdays we will meet at Somerset Pool for a day of swimming and will have the option to purchase a pizza lunch for $3. Incase of inclement weather an alternate location will be used. Each week is $95 Residents, $120 non-Residents. Each week includes 1 shirt which we will decorate as a craft. Purchase 6 weeks and get one free!

  2. Senior Pickleball

    June 25, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM @ Fraser Activity Center

    Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays at 9:30 am This fun program is co-ed drop-in and seniors from every community are welcome to play at the Activity Center. Don’t know how to play? Call the Center to set up a lesson! Drop-in fee: $1 members, $2 non-members.

  3. Girls Sand Volleyball (Grades 4-8)

    June 25, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Steffens Park Volleyball Courts

    Tuesday and Thursday Mornings, Grades 4-5 @ 10 AM, Grades 6-8 @ 11 AM Steffens Park Volleyball Courts This program will help aspiring volleyball players practice drills and sharpen skills in practices and games. All volleyball sessions will take place at the sand volleyball court at Steffens Park near the Fraser VFW Hall. This program is staff coached, parent volunteers are welcome. $60 Residents, $73 Non-Residents

  4. Seniors Little Ceasar's Arena Tour

    Tues, June 25th (This is our 4th sold out tour of Little Caesar’s.) If you are interested in visiting this new Detroit Landmark, please give us a call.   5. Little Kickers (Ages 4-5)

    June 25, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Steffens Park Willow Pavilion

    Little Kickers Tuesday and Thursday Mornings, Session I @ 10:30 am at the Willow Pavilion We take the fear out of starting a new sport with our “Little” programs! These 45-minute programs will be a fun introduction to the T-Ball or Soccer, teaching the basics but keeping the emphasis on healthy physical and social skills. This program is staff coached, but parent volunteers are needed. Participants must bring their own glove and helmet for Little Sluggers. Cost for program is $50 Residents, $60 Non-Residents, Tshirt included in registrations before June 8th.

    Restaurant Rovers Last Tuesday of the Month, Bus Departs at approx. 11 am Tuesday, May 28, El Charro’s JUNE & JULY Get out and try something new! Our bus will take us to a new restaurant every month. Cost varies depending on location we are traveling to. Cost is for transportation; lunch is on your own. Menus will be available at the Center upon request.

    Matter of Balance presented by Area Agency on Aging 1-B Tuesdays for 8 weeks, Beginning June 4th from 1pm to 3pm (skipping July 2nd) Do you have concerns about falling? Join this class presented by the Macomb Area Agency on Aging to learn informational tips, group exercises to increase strength, flexibility and endurance while sharing solutions and positive thinking! A Matter of Balance is an evidence based program for seniors who want to learn more about preventing falls and want to live an overall heathier, more positive life! Cost is $8.00 for 8 sessions.     June 25, 6:15 PM - 8:30 PM @ Richards Middle School or Fraser High School's softball fields.

    T-Ball (Ages 6-7) and Coach Pitch (Ages 8-10) are team based programs which will offer skill-building practices and a regular season game schedule. All practices and games will take place at Richards Middle School or Fraser High School's softball fields. Participants must bring their own glove and helmet.
