 Fraser POC Fighters Open House & Family Fall Fest at Steffens Park

Saturday, October 7th from 11-4pm

Join the City of Fraser and its many departments and supporters as we have some fall fun! Pumpkins, face painting, cider and donuts, bounce house, storytelling, crafts and much more! Learn about our very own Fire and Police departments and view our Big Rig Car Show!

Fraser Chili and Soup Cook Off

Saturday, October 7th during the Fraser Fall Festival at 12 pm

At Steffens Park, Voting Completes at 1:30 pm

$5 per chili or soup entry, enter your chili before Friday, September 29th

Minimum donation of $1 per person to taste the entries and vote. Proceeds go to the Fraser Goodfellows. Everyone is invited to come, eat and vote! One person will be named for best chili and best soup in Fraser!  

Farmer’s Market & Craft Show

Saturday, October 7th from 11 to 4 pm

Bring your home grown garden items, baked goods, and crafts to share! Cost per area is $15, or free entry when donating proceeds of the day to Fraser First Booster Club. Baked goods must follow health department Cottage Food Law, call the office with questions: 586.296.8483

Lions Club Children’s Halloween Party

Date October 22nd 11:30am or 1:30pm

This annual event is FREE to Fraser Residents and Fraser School District! Tickets are limited to 6 per household, and proof of residency is required for all adults. Tickets will be available at the Fraser Activity Center beginning in September.

Family & Friends CPR Course

Wednesday, November 1st 2017 6-8 pm

Join Fraser Officer Lisa Pettyes in this important course designed by the American Heart Association, geared towards anyone ages 8 and up.  This is not a replacement for Red Cross certification, but general knowledge everyone should know in case of emergency. Ages 8-17 must register with an adult. Cost is $10 for a family or group of 3 or $5 for individual. Materials and Pizza Dinner will be provided. Register by Friday, October 27th at the Activity Center.

Letters to Santa

Monday, November 27th to Wednesday, December 20th

Kids are encouraged to write a letter to Santa and put it in the drop box at the Fraser Activity Center! Santa will reply to all boys and girls who also include a self-addressed envelope in with their letter.

Christmas in Fraser

Saturday, December 2nd

Caroling at 5:30, Ceremony at 6pm at Fraser City Hall

Join us as we ring in the Holidays by lighting up City Hall! We will sing Christmas carols, enjoy refreshments and welcome Santa to Fraser! All ages are welcome and encouraged. This is a free event. Please dress for the weather.

Life-size Gingerbread House Making

Saturday, December 16th at 11 am

Families and Children under 13 are invited to test out their design skills with our very first life-size gingerbread house event! We will have large boxes for each registration group and some basic supplies to decorate a gingerbread house! You are welcome to bring your own box or decorations if you wish. Participants will have 90 minutes to decorate their box with their group and then we will set up houses so we can tour our gingerbread neighborhood! Parent or guardian must stay and participate in the program with their child. Cost is $5 per person over 2 and older. Pizza lunch provided. Register by Friday, December 8th.
