Thursdays at 2:00 pm or 5:45pm @ Fraser City Hall

  • Spring II Session – April 25 – June 6 – No Class May 30

Children ages 2.5 to 5 years old are invited to join our teacher, Ms. Cindi, in this interactive class with preschool activities and routines. Includes circle time, activities, story time, music and movement.  Parents or designee must stay with child during class and participate. Child must be 2.5 by start date of program. Cost is $55 resident, $65 non-resident. Space is limited so register early!

Junk Drawer Science

Tuesdays:  February 12th & March 12th 

Grades K-5 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

At the Recreation Room at Fraser City Hall

Join Engineer Rachel as she guides kids through some fun science experiments! Pre-registration is required, spaces limited. This is a FREE program but donations are accepted! No-shows will be dropped from any future program dates. Volunteers needed! Sign up online at

Crazy Fit Kids

Tuesdays starting March 19th @ Salk Elementary School 

Grades 1-8 @ 6:30 pm

This boot-camp inspired kids class is designed to get you moving and having a blast! Join Powerhouse Gym certified Trainer Billy as you work out and have fun! Cost is $50 residents and $62 for non-residents for five weekly 45 minute sessions.

Learn to Skate

Starting March 3rd or March 4th 

Sundays at 4:05pm or Mondays at 6:25 pm at Fraser Hockeyland

4-week trial session, with option to purchase the remainder 3 weeks of the 7 week program

This intro to skate for ages 3 and up to adult will teach the basics of skating and includes a 25-minute lesson and a 25-minute practice. All age groups will be sharing the ice but will have different instructors. Skates and helmets available, however we recommend skaters bring their own bike or skating helmet. Cost is $55 with an option to sign up for another 4 weeks for $55. Registration Deadline is 1 week before program start.


Learn to Play hockey with Chad LaRose

Starting February 12th, March 12th

Tuesdays at 5:55 pm at Fraser Hockeyland

This 5-week program is for ages 4-14 and will teach and develop hockey skills including shooting, passing, stick handling and skating.  Skates, helmet, stick and padding is available, but we recommend you bring your own helmet with face guard. Cost is $40, Registration deadline is 1 week before program start.

Computer Science Lab

Starting Friday March 22nd at 6 pm at Fraser City Hall

Kids from 1st-6th Grade are invited to explore Block Coding, a programming language that makes it easy to create interactive art, stories, simulations, and games. Club members will also use these concepts to program robots! This club is limited to 20 children, and all materials are included for the use during the program. Cost is $85 for 8 weeks of activities, Registration deadline is 1 week prior to start date.

K-1, 2-3 grade Floor Hockey League

Thursdays beginning March 21st 2019

K-1 at 6 pm, 2-3 at 7 pm, 4-6 at 8 pm

At Fraser School Gym (TBD)

Get on the court and shoot some goals! Boys and girls grades K-6 of all abilities are invited to play. No experience necessary! 7 Sessions will be a mixture of practices and games. In the event of low participation numbers we will play drop-in style. Recreation shirt will be provided for registrations before March 2nd. Cost is $55 resident, $65 non-resident.

Teen DIY Marshmallow Shooters

Friday, July 12th, at 11 am OR 6 pm

Boys and Girls grades 5-8 are invited for some DIY fun! Teens will be using instructions along with guidance from staff to make and decorate their own marshmallow shooters! Then we’ll have a pizza party and have a marshmallow accuracy contest and an all out marshmallow battle! Cost is $16 for residents, $22 for non-residents. Parent volunteers needed!
