Every Wednesday at 12:45 pm

Join the Wii video game craze! This game is great to help improve hand-eye coordination and movement, and can be done while seated. This drop-in program is lots of fun! Drop in fee applies.


Every Thursday at 9:30 am

Come and try your luck at BINGO! Cost is $2 for 3 cards. Drop in fee applies.

First Friday of the Month, Sign in at 6:30 pm, Game at 7 pm

Come in and use your skills at the Euchre Tournament! Cost is $5 per person, with an optional $1 high game. Two 50/50 raffles available, water and coffee are provided.

Senior Coloring Hour

Every Other Monday at 11am

Coloring supplies will be provided for you to use. Reduce your stress and anxiety, improve your vision, focus and most of all have fun! Drop in fee applies.

Seniors 55+ Pickleball

Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays at 10 am

 This fun program is co-ed drop-in and seniors from every community are welcome to play at the Activity Center. Don’t know how to play? Call the Center to set up a lesson! Drop-in fee: $1 members, $2 non-members.

Senior 55+ Volleyball

Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 am

Co-ed Drop-in volleyball for seniors! Don’t stay indoors during the winter, come to the center and get some exercise and socialize. Drop in fee; $1 members, $2 non-members.

Low Impact Aerobic Exercise Class

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 am

Meet up with friends and exercise along with the Richard Simmons Silver Foxes videotape. This class features a low impact, aerobic workout for the beginner or intermediate exerciser. Each session is designed to increase flexibility, stamina and balance. Drop in fee applies.

Chair Yoga

Tuesdays at 11 am

Chair yoga focuses on increasing movement and using a chair assures that people of all abilities are able to participate. Call (586) 296-8483 for more information.  Cost for 6 sessions is $24 members, $30 non-members.

Mediation for Seniors

Starting Thursday, December 7th 11:00 am

Meditation is good for the mind body and soul! This 3-week intro course will be guided by Jasmin and each week focuses on a different type of meditation. Sign up at the center by November 30th. Cost is Cost is $12 members, $15 non-members for 3 weeks of program.



Historical Hamtramck Tour
Thursday, October 19th Bus departs at 9:15 am
Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of ethnic history. Our tour will consist of visiting the Historic Museum, Polish Art Center, a tour of St. Florian Church, a bit of Hamtramck shopping and lunch at the Polonia Restaurant (lunch is on your own. Cost is $15 Members, $20 Non-Members.

Shop till you drop, have lunch with a friend or visit with Santa. Enjoy the lovely Christmas atmosphere while strolling along the halls of this beautiful mall. Cost is $4 Members, $6 non-members. Lunch is on your own.

Detroit Institute of Arts

Thursday, December 7th 12:15 – 3:30 pm

This FREE trip is made possible by th DIA for seniors 55+! Enjoy a guided tour for 45 minutes followed by 45 minutes of exploration on your own. Finish the tour with a reception of coffee and cookies at 2:30 pm, before departing at 3pm. This is a FREE trip but you must pre-register by Thursday, November 30th.

“Matter of Balance” Fitness Classes

Beginning Tuesday, October 17, 12:30-2:30 pm

A “Matter of Balance” class is an evidence based programs who want to learn more about fall prevention. Group exercises are conducted to improve strength, flexibility and endurance. This program is brought to you by McLaren Macomb, Area Agency on Aging 1-B and Macomb County Community Services Agency. Cost is $12 members, $14 non-members for 8 weeks of program.

Senior Fire Safety
Thursday, October 26th, From 10am-12pm at the Activity Center. Join Fraser Public Safety Officer Lisa Pettyes in an in-depth conversation of fire safety and how to protect yourself. Lunch will be provided, but you must pre-register at the Activity Center by October 20th to reserve your spot for this FREE EVENT.


Taking Control of your Financial Health Sponsored by Wayne State University
Tuesday, October 31st and Tuesday November 7 from 11-1pm
Wayne State University presents a 2 day seminar on how to take control of your financial health! Topics include avoiding financial exploitation, planning for retirement, household finance and information on good credit practices. Register at the Activity Center. Cost is $4 for lunch each day and seminar materials.

Senior Medical Marijuana Seminar

Tuesday, January 16th from 10-12pm

This seminar is provided by the Senior 420 Network Chapter in Michigan and will discuss the use of medical marijuana and seniors. Refreshments will be served, please pre-register by Tuesday, January 9th.

Crock Pot Recipe Share - Canceled
Monday, October 23rd 3pm
Have a favorite crock pot recipe? Make it and bring it to our recipe share! Cost is FREE but you must bring a pre-made crock pot dish for tasting. Participants will sample the dishes and swap recipes. Register at the Activity Center by Wednesday, October 18th.

Flu Shot Clinic
Monday, October 30th 10am – 1 pm
Medicare Part B and Medicaid accepted. Please bring ID and insurance card(s). No insurance? No problem! Cost is $20 by check or cash at time of service. No appointments required.

Veteran’s Recognition Day

The Fraser Activity Center and American House will be honoring our veteran’s. Please register at the Senior Center if you plan to attend this FREE event. We will be serving Donuts and cider.
